The weather is starting to warm up!! You know what that means? Spring is in the air and summer, obviously is following right behind it. So I wanted to show you all my must haves for this time of the year.
1. OPI Polish in the shade Alpine Snow
This color is a must have for this time of the year even though it is called Alpine Snow! Your nails will look clean and bright and they will especially pop with a nice tan!
2. Glow Recipe Pineapple Vitamin C Serum
If your skin is needing a pick-me-up and some brightening, look no further! This stuff not only smells amazing, but works and is so luxurious on the skin! I found this at Sephora for about $50.
3. Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Shimmering Body Oil
After a day at the beach or a fresh self tan, this body oil not only smells good and nourishes the skin but also gives a beautiful and subtle glow. Available at Sephora for $100.00 with free shipping.
4. Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector
With all the pool water, sun, and high buns make sure you are protecting your hair! (This picture is the No2 because I ran out of No3 but ya girl needed a picture) Anyway, this treatment keeps your hair going strong! You can find this at Sephora, too, for $28.00.
5. Morphe Setting Spray
With the summer heat and humidity you need to SET your makeup. I have used a lot of setting sprays but this one is great for all skin types and it has the best continuous spray nozzle. Plus it’s affordable! I always pick mine up at Ulta.
6. Maybelline Master Chrome Highlighters
We all need a little glow this time of year and Maybelline makes some of my favorites! I recommend the gold one for more medium to dark complextions and the rose gold for fair to lighter skin tones. They are under $10! Dust these highlights on the high points of your cheeks, shoulder, collar bones and BAM the perfect glow! Look for this at Target, Walmart, and Ulta.
7. Revlon All in One Styler
Okay, so I am obsessed with this new tool! I have used it on myself and clients and I am loving it for both! It cuts down on styling time and I am able to give myself a blown out look! I have seen these as low as $49.99 on Walmart.com , but you can find it at Target and Amazon for just a little more.
8. White Vans
Okay, so what if I am a little obsessed with white this season, don't judge me! LOL I have been loving slipping on a pair of white vans with a dress, leggings and jeans. I think they look so fresh and I can chase my kids around without worrying about my flip flops "flopping" off. I found mine at Journey’s.
9. Loving Tan 2 Hour Express
So being a red head and extremely fair I have always had to be careful with self tanners. But I absolutely love Loving Tan. When I am more fair I use the medium because it gives me the perfect "natural" looking tan. In the summer time I can use the ultra dark, too, and I still get amazing results! Now they sell this at UIta and not just online anymore and I am soooooooooo happy! Don’t forget to pick up the application mit- it is worth it.
10. Elta MD Sunscreen
Sunscreen is important this time of year. I prefer to use a safer sunscreen that has a safe rating on the EWG app. This comes up as a 1! I apply this in the morning after I wash my face. I apply it to my face, neck, chest and the backs of my hands. We can't forget about our hands. Hands age quickly and over sun exposure will only accelerate that, so put sunscreen on the backs of your hands ladies! available at Walmart for less than $17.00 and free shipping.
