How To Make A Flu Bomb
So this is not beauty related BUT I think this is something that is super important to share with you guys especially heading into cold and flu season! When It comes to sickness in our household I am super proactive with prevention especially at the first sign of symptoms. We are big advocates of chiropractic care, essential oils, vitamin C, elderberry syrup, healthy eating and cutting out sugar but my favorite thing to really kick anything is a flu bomb. So what is a flu bomb, well a flu bomb is packed-full with ingredients that help our bodies overcome almost anything. No it's not the most fun to drink but the pros out-weigh the cons in my opinion. So I will share my recipe with you in hopes it will help you and your family. I highly recommend taking this at the first sign of a cold, the sooner you start to fight it the better your body responds. I take this 2-3 times in the first day that my cold hits but after that take when needed.
1 or more cloves of garlic (minced)
1/4 Teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 Teaspoon chopped ginger
1 Drop Peppermint Essential Oil (Make sure they are food grade i.e.. Young Living, Doterra,etc.)
1 Lemon (juiced)
1 Teaspoon of honey
Add a little warm water and shake- I like to make mine in a mason jar so I can screw the lid on and shake it!
